Eight Gigabytes! It's like music to my ears. I have so much downloading to do! I hardly ever get carte blanche to download at will; now I'll see if there are any decent Sims 2 objects for my perusal; yes, I know Sims 3 came out ages ago but I haven't bought it because my machine can't handle it.
One day, one day ...
Meanwhile, I've been enjoying Torchlight; it's so very Diablo, only in steampunk. Even the sounds are similar, and naturally the creatures bear a striking resemblance to their predecessors. Still, it's a welcome change to DII, even if it is another hack-'n-slash. What can I say? I've never been one for multi-player ('does not play well with others') so I'm having a ball going around these fantastic domains firing my huge, old-fashioned pistols and carbines (fire and ice damage on one weapon? Hell yeah!).
I guess when you turn off the main road, you have to be prepared to see some funny houses.
